PUNCH! is a festival of new dance talent organized by Dansmakers Amsterdam. PUNCH! offers highlights of the season, new work by talented young makers, and performances of the latest selection of European choreographers from the Aerowaves network. In the side program Counter|PUNCH!, current issues pertaining to the discourse on dance will be discussed. PUNCH! takes place between 9 and 14 December 2011, in cooperation with de Melkweg, Theater Bellevue, Paradiso, the Henny Jurriëns Foundation and Dancing on the Edge.

PUNCH!: The Surprised Body Project

The Surprised body project is a dance piece for 10 performers that focuses on the body and the movement as its central element. A body more focused on reacting, than on acting. A body in balance .
